The Modern Design Style

This is one of the most popular styles with a clean, bold up-to-date look. Stylish simplicity and one-toned furniture are the norms. The addition of materials such as glass chrome gold-painted metals, in moderation, set the room. The room can have color, or neutrals but not mixing too many colors or a combination of both, with an uncluttered look. The modern style is functional with a clean storage system. The floor could be marble wood or even carpet. Cupboards could have a high gloss finish or a glass with the use of lighting inside. Have fun with this style and make it timeless

Eclectic Design Style

This fun style that came from the late 19th century and early 20th century is a mixture of textures and elements from different historical styles. There is a freedom to add pieces collected and play with color.

Difficult to recognize this style, although when pulling it all together, it gives a unique look to a room. There are no limits to the overall look, finding a star piece for the design and working around that is my way of creating an eclectic design. If you have an unusual furniture piece, then this could be a great starting point to create the design around. Go for it and express yourself through this style and make a room your masterpiece.

Modern farmhouse Design Style

You don’t have to live on a farm to have this style of décor in your home, and it is becoming more popular. This style is more refined than the traditional farmhouse style.

Combining modern contemporary with farmhouse aesthetics makes up this style. Neutral colors, whites, pastel blues, and greens look great in this style

Homemade accessories and crafts make the room feel homely.

Farmhouse architectural features that have been cleaned up or painted, exposed beams, barn door shutters on windows to give a more refined modern look, or add them to the design if you do not have them.

The kitchen needs to be functional, clean, bright, and modern, with accessories of the farmhouse style. The traditional overhung kitchen farmhouse sink with stainless steel appliances adds to the farmhouse style.

Wooden flooring adds warmth to the room with layers of large rugs and destressed pieces of farmhouse-style furniture. Lighting in metal iron and candle bulbs or the Edison bulb strengthens the farmhouse style.
