The way the world is changing rapidly, and more and more we expect to be able to buy from the comfort of our own home. The cost of living is more expensive and we are looking to do as many things as possible online. Maybe we are busy working with our careers, or with children or just want more time with friends and family. The e-design service is a fantastic way to upgrade your home with your very own personal online interior designer. I am sure you are wondering, how would this work, and maybe you feel that you are not up to the challenge. This article will convince you to change your mind. What exactly do I get for my buck using an e-design service?
First, you will have a consultation call with the designer to onboard you to the project. The designer will consider your personal needs, style, and who lives, & visits in the home. The designer will make up some concept boards for you to choose the look you like most. Also, a 2d plan of the room to show the layout & flow of the space with actual scaled dimensions. The most exciting part of the package is a 3D render design board based on solutions and functionality to suit your family, and aesthetically look fantastic. The design board will show your actual room and what the floor decor and furniture will look like. The designer will keep in touch with you through a personal portal so you can make changes to colors and items by leaving comments. Once you agree to the final design, the designer will give you a written set of instructions on how to put the room together. There will be a complete shopping list of all the items in the design with links to where to buy everything including the furniture, textiles, and paints.
Depending on how much work the project needs it might be a good idea to hire a local contractor to do those tricky jobs, like new flooring, painting the walls, hanging shelves, etc, or you could do it yourself. Even if you paid an interior designer to come to your house they would probably incorporate into their costs a couple of contractors leaving the final bill costly. That is why it makes sense to pay an e-designer and a couple of contractors and it would still cost a lot less. Please don’t get me wrong I still think an interior design service coming to your home is a great service, however, it just depends on your personal preference. I wrote this article to give you the different options, and they are both wonderful services if you get the right company.

That extra money saved from an e-designer could then be put into the cost of your new furniture. As a client, it is important that you are excited about the design and until you love it the final plan won’t be agreed upon. The wonderful thing about e-design is that the ideas the designer creates, you may have never thought of. The ideas open you to new concepts that before you may have not picked until you see the whole look together, and then you hopefully just love it!

The other option is that you already have all the furniture but just want a new floor plan layout so the designer will draw up a 2D plan to show how the room could work much better for you. The client can also ask to add a few new pieces to the room so the designer will give an idea of the size and what type of furniture could go there. This is a great way of redesigning your space with a professional interior designer without spending much money.
There are so many e-design companies out there and although offer a similar way of working, offer many different types of packages.
